The Democratic Republic of the Congo is a country plagued by crises. Our operations in the Kivu region aim to foster hope and peace through coffee.
On the island of Idjwi in Lake Kivu, exotic Bourbon varieties thrive on volcanic soils in cool hills. Our relationship in this remote region has been carefully prepared for a long time. By providing farmers with access to the cumpa network, coffee helps refugees and former rebels towards a better, more peaceful life. We rely on our partnership with the SCPNCK cooperative, which has already rescued several hundred former rebels from the conflicts and absorbed them into the coffee industry.
