The cloud forests of Peru are a very special type of landscape. The Andes meet the Amazon basin here. The biodiversity is gigantic. New species are still being discovered in the mystical, mist-covered forests. One of the highest waterfalls in the world (Gocta) was discovered and measured only 20 years ago in the mountain rainforest in Germán’s region. Again and again one comes across still unknown ruins of past cultures. Germán dedicates this coffee lot, consisting of the varieties Pacamara, Maragogipe and Gesha, to the high rainforest, the “Selva Alta”. With only 120 kg of giant beans, this is a special nanolot that brings complex floral and fruity notes to the cup.
