The area of Núi Bà Bidoup in the highland district of Lạc Dương is one of the few remaining regions still partly covered with dense native forest. On the slopes of this mountain range, coffee is cultivated by the K’Ho people between 1,500 and 1,850 meters above sea level, making it home to some of the highest coffee farms in the country. This area is inhabited by hundreds of K’Ho families, who rely on agroforestry and coffee farming across more than 800 hectares of hillside plots.
“Protect nature, support the community, and create delicious coffee” has become the guiding slogan of our partners at Lộc Rừng, who produce this coffee. Their approach supports a thriving coffee-growing region, a prosperous local community, and the continuous improvement of both the flavor and quality of coffee from this jungle-covered area.
To honor the people and the spirits of this special place, we name this coffee Rừng Già: Jungle.
