At Sítio Chapadinha in Nova Venécia, Robson Bastianello and his family run one of Brazil’s most innovative Conilon productions. What began in 1980 with just 4 hectares has grown into a 50-hectare farm known for its quality, research, and passion.
Robson relies on modern methods like carbonic maceration and honey processing, with drying on covered raised beds. Supported by his sister Elisa and ongoing scientific collaboration, the result is coffee with depth, clarity, and elegance.
Awarded 1st place at Coffee of the Year 2016 and Conilon de Excelência 2021 – a coffee that redefines Conilon.
In December 2024, cumpa facilitated a unique producer-to-producer exchange with our Peruvian partners Jimmy, Gino, and Anthony. Robson generously opened the doors to his family and shared the story behind his remarkable Conilon success. Parabens!
