After 7 years of management, Jimmy Rojas left the Aproeco cooperative at the beginning of 2022, making room for a generational change. Since then, he has dedicated himself to his own company “Finca Cascadas de Cueva”. The young company has already coordinated the export of all microlots from Peru for us in the second year. On the Finca “Cascada de Cuevas” they also bought coffee cherries from the neighbors and produced this lot. The extended anaerobic fermentation produced a bright red, intensely fragrant parchment. This lot is the continuation of lot 00047, produced slightly later and thus containing coffees from the higher zones around Carrizales. At 2,415 kg, it is our largest lot and the only one packaged in 69 kilogram bags.
