Finca Las Mercedes has been family-owned since 1886. It is located in eastern El Salvador, in the Tecapa-Chinameca coffee region, which is characterized by the majestic volcanoes Tecapa, Chinameca, and Chaparrastique. The rich volcanic soil and the natural microclimate are perfect for growing coffee. ‘Linaje’ stands for origin and family lineage. It highlights that Finca Las Mercedes has been family-owned for five generations. It also refers to how the first generation cultivated the F1 variety Pacamara in the region. So, the ‘lines’ of coffee and family come together in the Pacamara Honey from Lote La Primavera.
