Sítio Imperial is located in a valley near Santa Teresa, surrounded by Atlantic forest and crossed by a water source – a place with history and perspective. José Braz Ortelan has been farming the land for decades, inspired by his grandfather João: “If you have coffee, you have credit.” has here always been the principle.

The next generation brought new drive. Sons Bruno and André studied agronomy – and brought fresh ideas back home. Since 2011, the family has been processing Conilon and Arabica as Honey and Pulped Natural, dried in the covered patio.

The combination of experience, curiosity and sustainable change has brought prizes at local and national level – most recently the 1st place Conilon Pio Corteletti 2024 and an award for sustainability.
