The Ê Đê are an Austronesian-speaking, matrilineal community in Vietnam’s Central Highlands. Their distinct cultural identity is reflected in their language, longhouse architecture, and oral epics—elements still alive in daily life.
Though they contribute significantly to Vietnam’s Robusta production, their role often remains overlooked. Ro Ê Đê seeks to change that: “Ro” refers to traditional, locally rooted Robusta lines, “Ê Đê” to the cultural foundation behind them.
This Anaerobic Honey was produced in collaboration with Great Cherry Robusta, whose long-standing partnership with Ê Đê families is built not on symbolism, but on real, shared participation in the value chain.
