In Alto Jatibocas, on just 7 hectares of land, the Grunewald family shows what’s possible within small-scale structures. Three generations live side by side here — united by their history, their love for coffee, and their shared work.
Since the 1990s, the Grunewalds have focused on specialty coffee, but it was only a few years ago that Canephora was added — intentionally planted right next to their Arabica plots, overlooking the Atlantic Forest landscape. Today, both varieties flourish in the same rhythm — just like the family that nurtures them.
The Conilon clones A1, K61, and 2B grow on just 2 hectares, yet are cultivated with exceptional care. Harvesting is done by hand, processing follows the honey method, and drying takes place on a covered patio.
A harmonious coffee — full of depth and character.
