Germán Carranza is a young Peruvian coffee farmer who has direct relationships with some top speciality roasters in Germany. After being in contact with Germán for some time, we met him in Moyobamba in 2019. It quickly became clear that we were on the same wavelength and would like to work together. Now the time has come. We import various microlots from Germán. And not only the lots for the friends he already has, but even more lots for even more delicious Germán speciality coffee in Europe’s speciality roasteries.
This lot is a washed processed coffee from a natural Tipica mutation from Germán’s Finca El Bebedero (The Trough) in the village of Gracias a Dios, Lonya Grande, Peru. Germán named his variety “Tres Cogollos” (Three Hearts) because three coffee strains always come out of the ground.
