At Finca Osopén, the Marín family is not only cultivating exceptional Gesha but also pioneering high-elevation Organic Canephora. This coffee reflects the dedication and vision of Gino Marín, who oversees the finca while serving as director of the CEPRO Yanesha cooperative. Deeply rooted in the co-op’s mission, the entire Marín family works to strengthen indigenous identity through quality coffee.
Processed using cascara fermentation, the beans are fermented together with the coffee cherry pulp, allowing natural sugars and microorganisms to shape the final profile. This innovative method enhances sweetness and brings out layered, fruit-forward characteristics. Expect a distinctive cup with notes of berries, jam-like fruits, and a rich, high-viscosity mouthfeel with pronounced texture.
