Cayombe represents the collective strength of coffee from the Mayombe rainforest. Petit Kwilu Canephora is produced by many smallholder families living within the forest, contributing their harvests to this shared project. The cherries are processed in Lukula, on the grounds of a former colonial rubber factory, linking past and progress. A coffee full of courage—ready to redefine the role of Congolese coffee in the world while consciously confronting its own history. Awarded Best Washed Robusta of Africa at AFCA 2026—yet not Robusta, but Petit Kwilu.
