In the hills near Penonomé, Fine Robusta ripens on volcanic soil with a view of the vast countryside. Here, the Kiva Estate team is pursuing a vision: to make Canephora from Panama just as famous as Arabica from Panama. What began as a friendship between entrepreneurs became a movement. With a spirit of innovation, machines from three countries and single-origin seeds, they are defying old prejudices and making specialty coffee a new concept.
